Our client has a vacancy for a full time Paraplanner / Sales Support at their offices in London. This is an exciting and unique opportunity to work closely with a dynamic financial adviser writing business in region of £500,000.  These clients are gained via their close link with Silver Levene Accountants and other professional introducers both within the UK and Offshore.

Suitable candidates will have their Financial Planning Certificates 1 and 2 (or equivalent) and ideally 3. They will be able to demonstrate a good technical knowledge and understanding in all areas of financial planning. A pre-requisite is the ability to translate this knowledge into a professional report.  Reports will be partly bespoke and some template driven depending on the advice being given.

Candidates must be computer literate, with a basic understanding and working knowledge of 1st Software ideal. The successful applicant must be able to work under their own initiative, think laterally and be comfortable working to deadlines, they will have at least 2/3 years experience within an IFA / Private Client practice.

Responsibilities for this position:

• Updating 1st software
• Research
• Report writing
• Administration duties
• Diary Management
• Dealing with clients over the phone and some joint meetings
• Pre and post sales chasing including commissions, medicals etc.
