Our client has a vacancy for a Relationship Manage this role serves as a principal point of contact between Company branches/affiliated firms and Head Office.
The role requires a genuine commitment to providing 5 star customer service to branches and affiliated firms as well as a good understanding of the UK retail financial services industry, including the securities, fund management and financial planning sectors.

Reporting line: Direct to Manager, Relationship Management Team
Principle Duties
- Act as Relationship Manager for segment of our branches and affiliated firms, serving as central source of guidance and assistance and helping them to make full use of the resources the Company provides. Initially will work with Senior Relationship Manager for all clients, then will be assigned segment of our offices to be primary Relationship Manager for those clients
- Backup Senior Relationship Manager on her clients
- Take ownership of executing the transitions process for new branches and affiliated firms, with guidance by manager and other members of the department as required
- Track and proactively report progress to branches/affiliated firms
- Consider the principles of Treating Customers Fairly in all business activities Challenge the branch principles to evidence how they are embedding TCF into their day to day activities within their offices
- Meet with branch principals and affiliated firm contacts on a periodic basis to keep them updated on Company projects and initiatives and address their specific needs
- Serve as primary resource to all branches and affiliated firms regarding Company procedures and processes
- Assist in ensuring Advisers Resource content is accurate, comprehensive and complete
- Recognise when guidance on Advisers Resource needs to be added or changed. Coordinate with relevant Company Departments to agree required changes. Execute and post new or changed guidance to Advisers Resource Prepare and post notices on Hot News and prompt Manager of Training to highlight in Insight, to ensure our client base remains well informed
- Maintain primary ownership of coordinating FSA application process and IT implementations for all new and existing branches and affiliated firms
- Be conversant with Trade Mark procedures. Execute required action items for all new co-branded branches
- Execute Introducer Agreements as required by branches, and organise distribution of Introducer Remittance statements each month
- Work closely with Manager of Training to ensure our clients’ ongoing training requirements are assessed and met
- Solicit and monitor feedback on service issues from branches, affiliated firms and from Company Head Office personnel. Identify problem themes, devise and agree solutions and ensure execution of these solutions
- Assist in production of monthly Transition Report for management
- Assist in project managing roll out of a new enhancement as required
- Execute mailings to underlying investors as required, ensuring that all branches and affiliated firms are aware of purpose of mailing and project timetable in advance of execution
