Our client is an independent mortgage broker, specialising in mortgages for affordable housing schemes. Whether buying a studio flat, Victorian terrace or maisonette, they can help.  They have been working with housing associations predominantly based in London and the South of England and local authorities since the early 1990s. These close working relationships enable them to remain at the forefront of the industry and to assist with the development of new products.

Their main expertise lies in finding mortgages for those participating in the government’s affordable housing initiatives.  Helping buyers choosing to use one of the affordable home ownership schemes which includes; Shared Ownership, Homebuy, Key Worker living, as well as Right to Buy Scheme.  This has become a specialist area, which is not adequately covered by many brokers. Not all lenders are prepared to lend in this sector and those that do often treat affordable schemes as ‘special cases’.

Our client is looking for someone to be based from their office in Westerham, Kent, with sometime being spent working from home.  Easy commuting distance of City office preferred with current priority areas being East London / North East London / South Essex / South Herts.
